This month portends to be one of the most interesting ones in your life. A cavalcade of astrological shifts sets in motion the astrology we know of as 2012. On June 4th, a lunar eclipse at 14 Sag/Gemini reprises the degrees of the 9/11 attacks. As a lunar eclipse brings information to light, it is likely that we will be made more aware of the real Real truth concerning the World Trade center bombings. In our own lives, those of us who made important life decisions at that time are likely to see the fruits of our labors or the completion of a cycle. We begin a new chapter around higher mind/lower mind and how natural law truths can sometimes be distorted by the rules of the marketplace.

On the same day as the eclipse, Neptune, planet of illusion and dreams, turns retrograde for six months. When Neptune is moving forward, we can be subject to misrepresentations and delusions. So when this glamour planet turns backward, we actually are more capable of seeing through lies and misinformation. If we’ve been confused about a person or an issue, we may begin to have more clarity and put the missing pieces together.

On June 6th, we experience a Sun/Venus occultation at 15 Gemini. Similar to an eclipse when the moon passes before the sun, with Venus, we will see her crossing the path of the sun. This is a fairly rare occurance and according to Mayan tradition, it heralds a new era around peace or war. In our personal lives, we can grasp the higher dimension of love, or the solar/soul expression of the feminine principle. As this is occuring during a Venus retrograde period, the likes of which will end on June 26th, we have the opportunity to connect to our true soulmates or creative companions.

The granddaddy 2012 aspect, Uranus square Pluto becomes exact on June 24th, the first of six such passes that will occur over the next three years. This will set in motion the societal, economic and political changes that must begin to reframe the current paradigm. Whereever inequity occurs, the new guard will begin to break down the old structures that refuse to change or grow. While we will all be privy to the larger global events, those of us with planets or personal points at 9 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn will be more powerfully affected and will ultimately become players in the new global awakening.

The next day, June 25th, Saturn (planet of karma and commitment) turns direct in the sign of Libra for the last time, wrapping up a 2 1/2, 7, 14, 21 or 28 year cycle around equality and relationships. While many of us have been aware that certain changes needed to occur in our lives to allow a new chapter, we may have been holding on to old relationships, scenarios, ideologies and goals that no longer fully served us. Events around June 25th will bring a lot of clarity to the situation at hand and end those attachments that are not to be brought forward into your new life. This is a divorce, breakup, job quitting, leave town kind of transit. If you don’t actually do it at that time, you will be working your way out of the scenario through the fall.
