Rose Water is one of my favorite skin care products, mostly because it reminds me of my grandmother when she used to spray it all over her face as her own skin care regime. Also because of its soothing effects on my skin and the scent of Rose Water makes me connect with my feminine. I love to apply it every time after I wash my face and it even helps my moisturizer to penetrate deeper into my skin!

I feel that we can take this topic to the grave and still hear controversies about it. As a teenager and having Mediterranean skin, thanks mostly to my Italian background, I know what it feels to come up with the conclusion that oil is your worst enemy. You might have read in some of my past articles when I tell the story of me using rubbing alcohol with a cotton round on my forehead to make my pimples go away, only to end up with a shinny face right after….whatz?
If only I knew then what I know now….it would’ve saved me a lot of embarrassing pictures, it also would have saved me tons of “pesos” (Argentine currency) in makeup and dermatologists and I would have gone outside more feeling confident and enjoying life.
