Black Sesame + Dark Chocolate Spheres

Dark, decadent and delicious, these desserts taste indulgent yet are made of all good-for-you ingredients. We all need a different use for our weekly quinoa so why not incorporate them into your dessert? Most of the ingredients are pantry staples, just add in some black sesame seeds to elevate the flavor profile and add that exotic je ne sais quoi
- 2 cups cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
- 3 Tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 3/4 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 1/2 cup vegan, gluten-free chocolate chips
- ¼ cup black sesame seeds
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine quinoa, peanut butter, maple syrup, salt, and oats in a large bowl and mix well.
Stir in coconut, chocolate chips and black sesame seeds.
Scoop and mold dough into round, tablespoon-sized cookies.
Place cookies on parchment-paper-lined baking sheets and bake for approximately 20 minutes, until bottoms are nicely browned.
Allow them to cool completely before storing.
