Top 5 Products For Daily Use
How does a girl know what facial products are a MUST-HAVE when there are so many products to choose from out there in the market place? We can get easily overwhelmed with all of the different products to choose from like serums, eye creams, moisturizers, masks, peels, and scrubs. Most of us lead busy lives and don’t have the time for a long facial regimen. Bottom line, we want products that work and make us look and feel awesome!
So let’s get to it. Here are the 5 MUST-HAVE products that you should be using to keep your face ALWAYS looking fabulous. Keep in mind you should always have a morning and night routine when it comes to washing and moisturizing your face. I have been told that if you sleep with your makeup on overnight and don’t wash your face before you go to bed, you will age seven days. Tip of the day, be sure to wash your face at night!
MUST-HAVE #1 – Cleanser is a must. Make sure you find one that contains as many natural ingredients as possible
. Some cleansers have built-in toners. While the wash is cleansing your, the toner is balancing your skin, simultaneously. My gluten-free product recommendation, which is not tested on animals, is the FC5 Arbonne face wash formulated with fresh strawberry cell extracts, while it cleans and tones your skin. When you are washing your face, massage gently in circular motions and rinse in warm water.
MUST HAVE #2 – Eye Cream is necessary even when you don’t see or have wrinkles, dark circles or puffiness. Over time, smiling, the sun and the natural law of gravity take place and the benefits of using an eye cream are that it reduces and minimizes the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. I recommend putting your eye cream on with your ring finger. Your ring finger is known to have the least amount of pressure out of all of your fingers, and since the skin around your eyes is very thin you just want to tap your finger gently around, over and under the eye area with an eye cream .
MUST HAVE # 3 – Moisturizer is a must for all skin types, even acne prone skin. A moisturizer keeps the skin subtle and hydrated, which reduces the chances of premature wrinkles. If you are not allergic to sunscreen, I highly recommend using a moisturizer that contains a SPF of at least 8 to protect your skin from the UVA and UVB rays. Your makeup should also contain SPF protection as well. It is very important that you wear sunscreen throughout the year as 80% of the aging process is due to the exposure to the sun. Note, not all sunscreens contain UVA and UVB protection. Make sure the sunscreens that you are using, or the sunscreens that are built into your products, protect your skin from both UVA rays, which cause aging and UVB rays, which cause burning and skin damage. While almost ten minutes a day in the sun gives your skin the daily dose of vitamin D it needs, always make sure you are wearing SPF protection.
MUST HAVE #4 – Facial masks or facial scrubs remove dead skin cells that are on the surface of the skin. You can choose either a mask or scrub or both, however, I do not recommend the overuse of these products throughout the week. Typically, a mask should be used once a week and a scrub can be used up to 2-3 times a week. A mask usually gets deep down into your pores and helps to draw out any impurities, while a scrub exfoliates the top layer of the skin and keeps the skin looking fresh and clean. Both products improve skin color, clarity and visual firmness.
MUST HAVE #5 – Primer is used after your moisturizer and before you apply makeup, but it can be used even if you don’t wear makeup. The objective of a primer is that it helps to tone, smooth and minimize the visual appearance of fine lines,
wrinkles and enlarged pores. A primer also helps to create a canvas for makeup application, and helps makeup looking and staying fresh for hours! Of course, the primer I love is from Arbonne and contains hyaluronic filling spheres (which fills in any collagen loss or wrinkles that you might have). It also contains horsetail extract, green tea leaf, and grape seed extracts. Since I have tried this product, I now do not go a day without using it!
Hopefully, these 5 must-have products and tips will help keep you looking your best, while adding color to your world!

Great tips! thanks for sharing!
Great comments about primer and how to maintain a good complexion. As I get older, I am such a psycho about trying to keep up with my face/hair and skin.
Helpful tips.
These are great tips! I always get confused with all the products out there which ones are the most relevant….now I know!! Thanks for a great article!

This article was great! I now know what to use between all of my different products.
Kelly,
Some really great information for a young grandma with combination skin. Thank you!
I have never actually used a primer. Do they work really well/how do you use them?
Kelly,
It was funny to come home tonight and read this article. I was speaking to a group of friends about skin and products just this evening and I mentioned both you and Arbonne. I do get many compliments on my skin and I believe that along with genetics the other factor is the care you take of your skin. I agree with your tips completely. Like you said, whether you think you need to or not you should. It is always best to start young and get into good habits with your skin so that you will reap the rewards later!
Kelly, this article is very well written and it gives great tips on caring for their skin. I worked for Prescriptives for several years and one of the main makeup tips I learned was always use primer before makeup. It allows for makeup to be applied evenly for a smoothe finished look. Great Article
Great tips! I am going to follow them to help with the dry skin I battle in the winter and to fight wrinkles. Thanks!!!!
