Do You Own Your SEXY Self?
Sexy. Depending on our state of mind the word alone carries so much weight. I know that when we try to be sexy we often fail. So begin to think about what makes you feel sexy. The first thing that pops into my mind is working out. It’s in my stretch pants, tank top and a sports bra, with a light glisten of sweat that I feel sexy. Now this may sound crazy as many of my fellow females feel gross sweating in their exercise gear. But not me. I also feel sexy when drinking a green juice, or eating a salad, which could translate into feeding my body well. When I wear heels most often I feel sexy. Yet there are days when heels are a bit too much, and natural makeup makes me feel more appealing then smoky eyes.
Perhaps for you feeling sexy translates into cooking or being around animals or taking a bubble bath. For new moms maybe it’s being around their babies. The ways in which we as women feel sexy are as unique as our fingerprints. Yet it’s something we all want. Accept or deny this statement, the billions of dollars we spend on cosmetics alone speak for themselves; we are dying to feel sexy. With all the resources we have from lash extending, amplifying and volumizing (which is not really a word by the way) mascara to more drastic measures, we are still losing. Never before have women had so many get sexy options, yet never before have we been so disconnected from our true selves.
Innately as our true selves; we are sexy. Feminine energy is that which is lusted after by men and other women! Face it ladies we check each other out way more then we check out men. Yet we are approaching sexy from the wrong angle. Rather then increasing the appeal we already have we go searching for it in something, anything, outside of ourselves. The search will continue forever, with no doubt only moments of relief, if we keep looking away from the one and only sexy source.
To find your sexy source consider this;
You do not have to wait for an ideal image of yourself to treat yourself as the sexy spirit you are. Do not wait for those last ten pounds to come off before you buy hot panty and bra sets. Do not wait for a man to make you feel good sexually. Do not wait for a date to get a blow out. Start here and now taking care of you, the way you would a Queen or Goddess, regardless of where you are at in any point of your life. We all could use a little more sexy. Also start to notice activities that you do that really turn you on. The things you do that make you feel empowered and hot. You’ll begin to notice when you start a little taller and feel a little more fluid in your body. Make note and do those things more often. Look for new activities as well that ignite that spark, or ways in which you can amp up the sexy in perhaps your not so sexy day to day.
This may seem way out of character for many. Perhaps it even seems scary or stupid. But start small, making little changes in your day to day in the way you treat and see yourself will no doubt have amazing results. So get into the role, shake your hips and please..
