Adding Color To Your Workout
Editors Note: Although some of us like to relish in the fact we can be as under dressed as we wish at the gym, that doesn’t mean we can’t spice it up! A great way to make your world more colorful is to allow yourself to dress up whether it is for you, for a potential man you are calling in from the universe, or for your fitness instructor! Just do it, and see the magnetic energy you will be creating. ~Nitika~
At Bella Life, we take pride in discovering beauty everywhere-especially in unconventional places. When it comes to clothing, most of you probably derive enjoyment from putting together attractive, but appropriate outfits for work, taking risks on going out clothes and glamming it up for special occasions. But, when it comes to your workout gear you probably ditch the fashion and look for the function like most of us.
Sure, we might opt for a bright color, a particularly flattering pair of yoga pants or even an outfit that matches once in a while, but really we reserve our true fashion instincts for “real clothes” shopping. Like Haleh Nematzadeh mentioned in her recent Bella Life article, Your Fashion Breakthrough, “Often, I’m amazed at how clothing has added color to my world. “
So, what if a big part of your world is fitness? And, I don’t mean you have to be a personal trainer or group exercise instructor. Working at many health clubs, I see the same women every single day, sometimes twice. Many of us get our greatest confidence and energy boosts when we’re working out. Should we really have to sacrifice fashion for function when we spend so much time in these clothes? I think not, and Kelly Dooley, President and Founder of BodyRock Sport, agrees. Take a look at how Kelly has fused fashion with function and women everywhere are feeling sexier than ever at the gym, while nipping lots of common workout gear woes in the bud.
This August, Kelly will debut 34 new designs to the BodyRock Sport collections, including more sports bras and tanks, and some brand new headbands and shorts.
For fun and to flex her creative fashion muscles, Kelly also presents The World’s Most Expensive Sports Bra (Guiness Book of World Records application pending), The Trenta Bra ($1850).
While the Trenta Bra is bold and edgy—definitely exemplary of Kelly’s personality and style, the new Jess (pink/gray/black camo pictured below) and The Minnie (purple v-neck with gold fishnet pictured below) are more true to the three F’s of BodyRock Sport: Fitness, Fashion and Function. And, they all fall under the price of of $40-$84.

Smart Features:
As a lifelong athlete and fitness aficionado (with a set of DVD’s constantly in my way!), I find the true genius in Kelly’s brainchild to be the features.
“The garments feature unique fabrics and distinctive embellishments with smart details, such as built-in iPod pockets, zippered compartments, and tag less labels for extra comfort. All of the items are made using either Swarovski crystals or studs, and produced with only the highest quality spandex and nylon.”
Finally, if any of you are super sweat machines when you workout, like me, these two upgrades are for you. All BodyRock Sport bras are now made with Supplex, a moisture wicking fabric (because there’s nothing worse than a soggy sports bra). And, have no fear, your iPod is safe because all iPod pockets are waterproofed.

love this concept. I’ve stopped purchasing cheap gyms clothes since they always look crappy after a few washes. Save up and buy a few good quality pieces like these ladies. Even for the gym.
I literally was JUST thinking about this while at the gym! I’m getting so sick of wearing the same old boring tank tops! Take pride in what you wear…even the items you sweat in! AND I’m a big fan of camo design so you know I’m itching to buy that sports bra!
It’s true, we always get dressed up to go out, but I think going to the gym is just as if not even more important. Getting dressed up, or caring about my clothes at the gym will make me want to go more often.
