Last month brought a series of shifts in our perceptions and behavioral patterns.  We are rapidly letting go of false premises, associations and endeavors.  While the energy is a bit dense and rather serious, if we are willing to commit to our new life direction with integrity, we are guaranteed a very solid long-term success.  Of course, the key word is integrity and it must point to our true growth and purpose, not our ego-based desires or identities.

We start off the month with Saturn permanently tenanted in Libra for the next two years, with Mars in Libra and Venus following suit on August 8th.  Partnerships both business and personal are the main focus now.  If that is not the case, we may be partnering with ourselves in new ways, which is ultimately our most important relationship after all.   As is always the case, if we are holding onto to imbalanced or unwieldly situations, we are preventing the newer more dynamic energy from entering our lives.

We may finally make up our minds regarding an untenable relationship or arrangement on or around August 21st, when Saturn squares Pluto for the last time this year,  We have been wrestling with this decision since at least November of 2009, if not earlier.  Whatever situation we find ourselves in, it may have psychological precedents to 9/11 and, depending on your age, the years 1982/83.  There is likely a thread concerning work, love, residence, ideology that connects all the time periods, even if you were very young at the time.  In the latter case, you may have observed a dilemma, decision your parents were “forced” to make.

And while on some level it is finished, truth be told, with Uranus moving back into Pisces on August 15th for its last trip through sign (where it’s been since 2003), we may choose to continue to engage with or return to the person, project or situation that has been preoccupying our minds since fall 2009.  What will most likely happen is that these old stories/dramas/potentials will no longer hold the same appeal and we’ll be ready to leave them behind for good by January 2011.

ARIES

Something major is happening in your partnership sector.  You have received a taste of what the future might bring in terms of a true love soulmate and while he fits your every desire, you are getting cold feet.  There are a few more old “karmic” ties that must be broken, primarily the fear that you are not strong or capable.  How absurd to those of us who know and love your very fierce spirit!  Mercury retrograding in your sixth house says to revisit your daily grind and add some healthy positive routines. If you figure out what you really want and are capable of, the reward appears in your house of fame and position!

TAURUS

You are in an apprenticeship phase regarding your burgeoning career.  You will find yourself more in the public eye in a few years time. In the meantime, continue to revisit relationship dynamics, not only in your love life, but also in your social and professional arenas.  You don’t have to sacrifice yourself to anyone else and this realization holds the key to a whole new view and lease on life!  In fact you may find that powerful awakenings will be the name of the game for a long time to come and foreign shores may be part of this equation.

GEMINI

As one of the mutable signs, your love relationships have been torrid or challenging or non-existent these last few years.  Time to hear a new tune!  If you are ready play with an equal, the universe is ready to sign the deal.  You’re original ideas of unworthiness probably came from childhood and any limitations have been reflected back to you by lovers and friends.  If you get how this falsehood was implanted in you, there is no way that you will refrain from following your deepest desires in the coming years.

CANCER

Poor Cancer, you are a sensitive soul, but one who is resilient and loyal.  Only thing is, in your sentimentality, you may loyal to the wrong ideas or people–primarily those to the past that don’t allow you to grow in independence.  Take an imaginary walk down childhood memory lane and zap those weeds of criticism and fear.  You’ve got to eliminate these blocks to self assertion so that you can get the real prize–a soul and mind-blowing relationship that breaks down all the walls that defend you.  By doing so, you’ll also be able to play ball with the heavy hitters over the next decade.

LEO

Time to get serious with your words Lioness!  After several years of rebuilding your sense of self and honoring your talents, you can begin to speak your truth with more authority.  If not, make sure that you are not undermining yourself with thoughts of inadequacy.  They are definitely leftovers that should be thrown out rather than re-heated.
