While the Sun has already moved into the sign of Taurus when the month begins, most of the personal planets are still traveling through the sign of Aries.  Aries is highly individuated and all about me whereas Taurus is about what is mine.

“I am” vs. “I own”.  At the beginning of the month we ought to consider the imperatives of our emerging self, the self that needs to be free to explore options, concepts, adventures, relationships.  Balancing out the self-assertion is Saturn in Libra, which is asking that these explorations also retain some knowledge of consequence and responsibility.  Yet, if we have to err on the side of impetuousness and “selfishness”, that is fine with all the Aries energy in the sky.

Once Mars (drive), Venus (love) and mercury (communication) move into Taurus on May 12th and May 16th respectively, we will be able to slow down and see what would like to stay and grow in our lives.  Certainly, sensuality, security and indulgence should be part of the experience as Taurus has a great affinity with physical pleasure and the joys of the body.  After all the drama and chaos of the last few months, we all deserve a break and the Taurean energy will impel us to sit still for a moment and enjoy our surroundings and possessions.

ARIES

Your engines have been revved up for the last two months and you will continue to create new projects, roles and identities for yourself.  Make sure they are in alignment with your authentic self.  If not, you will find they are just “pie in the sky” and don’t have the foundation for long-term growth.  Mid-month, take a look at what you’ve surrounded yourself with or set in motion.  The things or endeavors that feel solid and valuable to you now have a change to germinate.  Know that the genius ideas you’ve captured and shared will provide you with the financial and emotional security you crave.

TAURUS

You may feel that you’ve been rushed and propelled forward by forces beyond your control.  While you may not “own” it, these energies are actually your own inner warrior asking to be set free.  If you allow yourself to pursue ideas or projects beyond your comfort zone, you are channeling the energy properly.  The latter part of the month provides you with the opportunity to do what you do best–appreciate life and the inner and outer beauty that is you.  That little bit of earlier chaos has just expanded your value and now people will come to you.

GEMINI

You have made major strides in starting up new alliances and social networking ventures.  Many new people have flooded your airwaves or wi-fi connections. Some of those dynamic connections will pan out in terms of supporting your future goals in a more tangible and media-oriented way.  After all of the communication overdrive you will welcome the respite that comes at the end of the month.  For whatever reason, despite your social nature, you will be drawn to spending more time alone in prayer and meditation.  Time to seed your future from the fertile void.

CANCER

So many changes on the work front or new career goals that your head must be spinning!  Offers that may have come and gone and returned once again, in a renewed form after last month’s Mercury station.  Thankfully, you had strong foundations at home to keep you in check, allowing you to jump in the ring when the entrepreneurial spirit hit.  As the month progresses, you will find that your thoughts refocus to pleasure and having fun and here you will have no shortage of willing playmates.  You deserve a break and the time to ground and gift yourself with beautiful people, places and things!

LEO

Your mind has been firing on all cylinders for the past two months with new goals, visions and publishing ideas gushing out of you!  Some of these uncanny brainstorms have the juice and meatiness to stick and you will get clear confirmation of this at the latter part of the month.  In the meantime, keep the visualizations going while the planet of brilliance is in your house of higher mind.  The people with clout and financial wherewithal will appear as the days get longer and the fire in you grows!

VIRGO

You may have been attracting at least one exciting partner who has the potential for a more established relationship.  This, despite the fact that they are a bit over the top and likely to push your buttons.  All’s well because otherwise you would be trapped in old relationship dynamics that involved codependency or the relive of your parental story.  If you have made some headway and broken down your internal barriers, you will find yourself luxuriating in a more sensual place than you’ve been in a long time, if ever.  Ideas of love are great, but bodies of love are even better!

SCORPIO

You’re trying to wrap up karma around relationships.  Whatever has been happening in your love life may have forced you to take a look at old patterns of romantic behavior.  You may have decided in the last few months to focus more on your work and new healing modalities instead.  You will do best with the untried and true in terms of therapy and bodywork.  With the healing you accrue, you may find yourself rubbing shoulders (and more) with one who has your most seductive desires in mind.

AQUARIUS

Spend the first two weeks of the month continuing to jot down every thought, word or tweet that matters to you.  Especially the ones that have an edge or revolutionary intent.  You have the intelligence and passion to get your vision across to those near and far.  The only restraint you should practice is making sure these ideas support your authentic self and greater life purpose.  Once mid-month arrives, you will want to extract yourself from the whirlwind and spend quiet time in your home or private vacation getaway.

PISCES
