Reality check: all of us are aging. From the time we are born, we are going toward death.
How does this make you feel? How do you feel about aging in general?

This was when I knew I could no longer ignore or hide what was really going on. I had to make some changes. I was afraid to, but more afraid of what would happen if I didn’t.

A stressed out or negative mind won’t work as effectively to find a solution as a calm, positive mind. The next time you get a little too hard on yourself or just don’t feel as confident, take the following steps:
1. Check in with your body. It’s incredible the amount of tension that builds up from thinking self-limiting thoughts. Take your attention away from your doubts for a moment and take three deep breaths, inhaling for a count of four and exhaling for a count of four. (more…) read more →
