First of all I just want to say a huge THANK YOU for sending so much love my way after I shared myself with you last week.  I got countless emails, Facebook messages and even some phone calls from people around the world who were either experiencing a similar challenge or just checking in to make sure all was well.  I truly appreciate it all.

One of the things I touched on in last weeks newsletter was that I will be sharing different ways to heal your mind, body and soul more and more on Bella Life.
Being a person who is constantly on a mission to heal, whether it be from a broken heart or healing my body from Psoriasis or even strengthening my faith in God when times have gotten rough, I want to invite you in to my world so you can see what I do to access true healing.  When it comes to my body, one of the biggest things that I have always paid attention to is the food I put in to my body.  I have noticed so many connections to what I eat and how effected my Psoriasis gets.  For example, if I even eat one bite of a tomato my skin begins to itch uncontrollably….so I avoid those!!
But some times it’s hard for me to find a place to eat that offers healthy, tasty and affordable food which fits my particular diet.  My mom always told me that if I just learned to cook, things would be a lot easier.  I could make what I wanted, eat only things that my body could digest and even save a TON of money.  It was always one of those healthy habits that I knew would really benefit me, but I had no desire to participate in. Especially after I got divorced, cooking for one seemed like a punishment more then a pleasure.
About a year ago I was feeling like I had gained weight from not eating the right foods and was so frustrated with my inability to enjoy cooking.  I really felt like I had tried everything and that maybe it just wasn’t going to happen for me no matter how much I longed to be a cook on the inside.  I was sharing this disappointment with one of my dear friends, Bella Life contributor Quinn Asteak, when she suggested I check out Healthy Cooking Camp.  Another Bella Life contributor, Robyn Youkilis and her had developed the program for people JUST like me.  Well, it took about two seconds for me to follow her advice and I am SO thrilled that I did.  Going through all the different videos and incredible recipes with Quinn and Robyn as my guides, was SO fun and I finally felt like I was cooking with a group of friends instead of alone in my kitchen. (Pictured above are Robyn and Quinn with me at our lest Bella Life Event, check out our next event here.)
Are you a person who would love to learn how to cook but feel like you could never learn, or that it is too hard?  Or even the thought of it overwhelms you?  Don’t sweat it! I strive to only share the very best with you and I truly feel like Quinn & Robyn have a way of making cooking an effortless, fun and yet healing experience.  And guess what?! You can check them out and see for yourself because they are throwing a FREE Slumber Party where they will be cooking all things sweet in their PJ’s LIVE!  They are even going to send you a shopping list so you can cook right with them, I am telling you after one cooking fest with them you will want them in your kitchen for life.
I know that this live stream and the work that these girls do could really change the way you look at cooking and help you bring more healing to your life through food and I am so excited to see how it all turns out!
