As an entrepreneur, the “right time” to hit send for one of your emails is crucial. I’ve been asked this question a lot from different clients, friends and so forth. I am not just a business coach but someone that has the necessary experience and background to call myself an expert when it comes to email marketing and campaigning.
I have spent the majority of my time in the corporate world learning all about email marketing and the “rules” or spending years pulling analytics together to best decide when to hit send for a given email. There is a lot of debate around this topic – when do I hit send for my newsletter? I want to ensure that I get the biggest open rate and have a really engaged list. OF course to it is always of topic to entrepreneurs of how can I best grow my list numbers?
After many attempts, learning from the “experts” and a lot of A/B split tests I have come to a place in my business where I no longer go by strategy, analytics or what those so called experts informed me all these years. I am throwing ALL of that out and using a brand new strategy.
I hit send with my heart. Plain + Simple, yet never ever done before. I prefer to run my business from my heart and it is directly coming from my inner core – my passion is my work. My work is my passion. Ever since I have begun to utilize my heart in my newsletters I kid you not my open rate has increased. There has been more subscribers and less unsubscribes. Funny how something so basic as listening to your intuition and your heart expands the possibility and gives you the largest return on investment
I would love for you to give this some thought and if you feel it in your heart experiment. Try sending ONE status update, tweet, post or email with your heart leading. Share with us what happens.

But I have realized that the really meaningful content which is appreciated. I think this is a great check to have before hitting send- will make for a lot less spam!
